Sports on Offer

At Seaton House, we believe sport builds more than athletic ability. It grows vital life skills – like teamwork and character in every child.

Our sports programme will be designed to grow school spirit, encourage wide participation, and celebrate both effort and results. We’ll focus on traditional school sports offered to both boys and girls, with an emphasis on building confidence and developing a healthy attitude towards competition.

From the start, we’ll encourage a culture where boys and girls support each other – both in the classroom and on the sports field. Enjoyment of sport and a sense of shared pride will be key to shaping a vibrant school culture.

Core sports will include aquatics (swimming and water polo), athletics, hockey, netball, rugby, cricket, basketball, tennis, cross country, and soccer.

Set within a thriving equestrian and outdoor community, Seaton House scholars will also have access to a variety of adventure and nature-based activities, opportunities we plan to actively support and integrate into school life.

“Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire. It has the power to unite people in a way that little else does.”

Girls Sports

Beyond the core programme, girls at Seaton House will be able to take part in sports like netball, action netball, indoor and field hockey, 6 touch rugby, basketball, water polo and tennis. Our coaching  will focus on teamwork, and always playing with heart. Whether they’re just starting out or aiming to compete, every girl will be encouraged to pursue her passions and enjoy the game.

Boys Sports

Boys at Seaton House will be able to take part in rugby (including 7s), cricket, hockey, basketball, soccer, water polo, cross country, and tennis. With expert coaching and a focus on discipline and teamwork, sport will be about more than performance – it will be a space to grow. Whether they’re just starting out or aiming to compete, every boy will be encouraged to take part and give of his best.
