Future Plans

The next phase

Boarding at Seaton House will be introduced in a later phase – thoughtfully shaped to support independence, and the natural rhythms of school life. It will become a space where young people can grow, find belonging, and form friendships that last a lifetime.

Many families in the region currently face long daily commutes or send their children to boarding schools far from home. Seaton House will offer a closer, more connected option – making it easier for parents, grandparents, and loved ones to stay involved.

Our boarding model will provide:

  • A safe, nurturing home environment

  • A setting that encourages independence, friendship, and outdoor living

  • An extended environment that supports co-curricular excellence – with easy access to early morning sport, after-school activities, extra lessons, music, the arts, and the region’s rich equestrian offering

  • Dedicated time and space for academic focus – including supervised prep sessions, quiet study zones, and collaborative study groups that foster peer learning and personal growth

  • Seamless parent connection through a high-tech school app – keeping families informed, engaged, and in touch with teachers and boarding staff in real time

Our boarding environment will foster independence, kindness, and mutual respect. In this shared space, boarders will learn to live well with others, take responsibility for themselves, and contribute to a welcoming and inclusive community that reflects the values of Seaton House.

A place of caring and support

Boarders will be surrounded by people who know and care for them. From Houseparents and peers to our Chaplain, pastoral team, and health staff – there will always be someone to talk to, listen, or lend a hand.
