At Seaton House, our early years programme is thoughtfully designed to support each stage of a child’s growth – with space to explore, play, and belong. Our three pre-prep classes are named after whales, reflecting our connection to nature and the gentle strength we aim to nurture in every child:
Belugas (Gr 0000 Age 3) – curious, social, and full of wonder
Orcas (Gr 000 Age 4) – confident, energetic, and ready to stretch
Blue Whales (Gr 00 Age 5) – calm, capable, and preparing for their next big adventure
Each class offers a safe, inspiring space where children are supported, and celebrated for who they are – and who they’re becoming.
Did you know?
Whales are some of the most nurturing creatures in the ocean. They sing to communicate, travel in close-knit families called pods, and guide their young with care and patience across vast oceans. Some even take turns looking after each other’s calves – a beautiful reminder that learning and growing is never done alone.
At Seaton House, we’re inspired by this same spirit of connection, care, and community.
“Children learn as they play. Most importantly, in play, children learn how to learn.”
— Fred Donaldson
At Seaton House, we won’t rush the journey. We will walk alongside each child with patience, wonder, and a belief in who they’re becoming.
