Arts & Culture

Woven into the fabric of Seaton House

At Seaton House, we believe the arts are essential – not extra. From 2027, every child will be encouraged to explore, and grow through visual art, drama, and music.

“Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.”

Pablo Picasso

In Art, children will gain confidence through creativity. In Drama, they’ll build teamwork, empathy, and presence. In Music, we’ll nurture both passion and potential.

  • Creativity with purpose – nurturing confidence, curiosity, and self-expression through visual art, music, and drama.

  • Inclusive by design – opportunities for every child to explore their talents.

  • Skills for life – helping young people think deeply, work together, and care about more than just themselves.

Music

Every child will have the chance to explore sound, rhythm, and song – whether they’re learning their first instrument or stepping onto a stage. There will be space to grow, express, and connect through music.

From quiet classroom moments to shared performances, music will shape how we celebrate, belong, and learn together.

Drama

Through storytelling, role play, and performance, they’ll build confidence and learn to step into someone else’s shoes. It won’t just be about the stage – it will be about finding your voice, thinking on your feet, and learning to listen.

Drama will be both playful and purposeful – a meaningful way to nurture creativity, character, and courage.
